    Hey folks,

    I just picked up a 2000 SR5 2WD with 215k miles, and I love it so far. It spent most of its life in the pacific northwest and is mostly rust-free, but I did feel around inside the frame (through the larger openings) and felt large rust flakes sitting at the bottom of the frame rails.

    Hopefully I can blow out the rust flakes and spray some fluid film inside to preserve it. The exterior of the frame is in great shape with minimal rust, no holes or scale whatsoever. My hope is that the salt-free roads where the truck came from kept it this clean, and that I can preserve the frame in its current shape. Let me know if you have any advice. Glad to be here!

    The truck is bone-stock with 215k miles, original clutch (!), 2.4, no accidents, original paint. I tossed an extra set of wheels from my Mustang on it just for fun.
