Today I was able to pick up a free trifold for my 08 access cab 6ft box. Cover came off a 3rd gen, I knew the part numbers were different but I figured worst case I could maybe use it for parts to fix my trifecta or pass it on to someone with a 3rd gen as I could really find anything here on if it would work or not.

I swapped out my clamps and installed the supplied hardware for the 3rd gen and the fitment was great.

The only issues was a large gap at the front and rear of the box.

In my case I had my old trifold but I’m sure you could easily find some kind of weather stripping. I pulled it off my old tri fold and sprayed it with 3m super 77 glue and stuck the seals on top of each other.

Bam free cover with 1 patch instead of 6 and 3-4 holes that were in my old cover.
