Wasn't to bad. Just need a big hammer, a socket, and a Cclamp I've got an arbor press that helped me out. Hammer and socket easist way to get them out though.

I used a c clamp to start that center one. Didn't want to try and hold it while manuvering into the arbor press and risk messing up the needle bearings.

Right, I think they are definitely useable but also must be rated and maintained and you can't snatch on them. Tow truck drivers use them all the time as well as construction applications and other big load type stuff but it's always a pretty static load. Who knows what they were doing with it and what kind of chain they were using. Definitely not a chain suited for their purpose though.

Looks good though. How is the fit and finish?

I went with safari on mine. Been on for several years and it's still not plumbed under the hood.

Bi-lo is my go to for meat deals... Or at least it used to be. It will someday again! When they have the big double shoulder packs I used to get two or three at a time and slam the deep freezer full. Same with the chuck roast. Sometimes they will have pork belly, too, for those burnt ends. There is a place called Corley's where you can get local meats, too.

It was a nightmare. Had to cut a new hole in the engine bay side of the fender to connect it. If I was gonna do it again I would buy the Safari that’s designed for the Tacoma. It’s connected though and works.

Someone posted and alternative solution to the snorkel. I dont remember who, though. I want to do one or the other. Hearing your experience helps when the time comes to decide.
