    stock for now
I've owned 2 Toyotas, a 76 Celica GT & a 98 4Runner - had well over 250K miles with each and had nothing wrong w/ either of them except normal battery replacement, tune ups and brakes. In 2012 I bought used 09 Tacoma 2 wheel drive PreRunner model; this truck only had 18K miles and was a local trade in - it was a certified Toyota used truck! Now I have less than 94K miles. It is stock - a normal driver type truck; no 33" tires or other mods. I'm a careful driver, typically very easy on my vehicles. 2 weeks ago I noticed a roar on the front driver's side. Yep, failed wheel bearing; on disassembly it was almost dry inside. What a crock! And of course there is no grease fitting in the bearing assembly for regular maintenance by a careful (poor) owner. Is nothing sacred anymore? This is crap quality that I could expect from a typical Ford or Chevy truck but never a Toyota. Now I am wondering when the passenger side will need replacement. Advice?

Welcome to TW...That’s still close to a 100k miles. I can remember a time when you couldn’t even get a 100k miles on a motor.

I had a new 1982 and 1985 which is why I bought this 08. Not the same quality other than the Rust. Not impressed.
