1995.5 Tacomas only - how many are still out there

purple is not on this color chart other than for '98 and '99

 

Ok so I had to run out and check to make sure it really was a 1995 and I took a couple pictures.
It kinda looks blue in the pictures but it really is purple.

Edit: I just looked up the paint code and it is colbalt blue Pearl. But it looks purple.

I had a brite blue metallic '95 preTacoma (not paradise blue)
and your truck is not 'blue' by my defintion of blue lol

 

1995 5lug 5speed 2.4l
Original sticker price $16,795 (going to double check and window post sticker later)
Dad bought new and it sat most of its life until i got my hands on it in 2016 *first picture*
daily driven now and clocked at 180,000 miles
Lives at rev limiter and is a hell of a truck to drive, won me over #4banger

currently lift achieved by pvc pipe as a coil spacer and AAL in the rear.
siting on 265/70r17 nitto ridgegrapplers, rims are fuel hostages 17 x 9

Future mods sitting in garage: v6 spring and coil spacer, fabtech uca's, full exhaust and summit racing cutout waiting to be welded on (current setup open headers), and extended shackles for the rear and possibly take out the aal to soften the back up.

 

Just watch hitting it too much.
HP/torque peak a bit below & engines can still blow.
Best: shift just below limiter ...
Think- not hit-> nice shift
If hit-> well fudge ... gotta be more accurate.

FYI- I took a near 90 degree left at speed today (traffic necessity). It was smooth, no roll/squeal issues. Then, realized it was at 35-40 mph. (Why I got the Comp 2 A/S rubber.)

 

Okay I guess can post here too. Already did in the newb section.

95 white extra cab, v6 MT, 4x4 sr5 everything but the cruise works, including the dash clock ( need to make it my sig line ).

185k miles paid 3k. just a little rust, no holes except where they should be, like the one the dash clock is in.

i have never seen side decals after 97 other than a TRD decal at the back
tailgates were also changed (i think?)
but it has been like 20yrs now lol
