Just had tires mounted on my flat black trd pro wheels yesterday. Trying to remove the grease they use to put the tires on and not a lot of luck so far. I’ve went over the wheels twice with chemical guys diablo wheel cleaner and still have spots. I have noticed that once the wheel dries I can get some of the grease off by rubbing it with my finger. Just wondering if anyone had tips on how to make it easier.

OP, any luck cleaning the wheels?

I just bought these wheels myself. Looking forward to getting some new tires in the near future to go along with them. However, I question the durability of the finish. I never had flat black wheels before. Seems like they can scratch easily, and they also feel like a chalkboard!

For those running these wheels, any issues with the finish?

Yes I was finally able to clean the grease off with some dawn and a little elbow grease. I love the wheels so far. I had flat black wheels on my Silverado and they held up nice, but I washed them on a regular basis. I’ve had things like brake dust and dirt on these wheels and all that washes right off with some wheel cleaner and water. I don’t think you’ll have any problems
