I have a 17 Tacoma with a OME lift. 888 coils up from and heavy duty leaf pack in back. The rear is about 2.75 of lift and front is probably 2inchs it alittle more so there is rack.

Would love to lift the front end just a half a inch so it sits level and cv angles are still good. There are two kind of top plate spaces. 1/4 saying maybe 1/2 lift and 1/2 spacer saying one inch of lift. Toytec sells both. Do you think the smaller 1/4 spacer would be fine to give me the half inch of lift to make the front end higher? Or should I go for the bigger one? Thanks

Toytec is saying 1/4 spacer up to maybe 1/2 but the 1/2 spacer 1/2 to 3/4 lifts.

If you lift the front any higher you are cruisin’ for a bruisin’. If you want to level it, take a leaf out of the Dakar pack?

The front is only 2 inches lol. I see people go 6 inches no problem. I’m only going up 1/2 of lift. I need to get new leaf pack. These heavy duty ones are not heavy duty. I carry up to 1,100 in the bed and after a month they sagged 1.5 inches. Sucks haha. I hope that small change up front doesn’t affect anything haha

So you lifted the rear by 2.75 inches, then it sagged 1.5 inches (net lift of 1.25 inches. Your front is lifted 2 inches, but you want more lift in the front to level? That doesn’t up.. also a 6 inch lift is a drop bracket lift and not comparable at all with what you have. If you regularly haul 1,100 lbs you’re probably over GVWR..

I want to say the rear Was lifted 2.75 to 3 inches. I don’t have exact measurements because it’s sagged lmao. So I’m probably off my bad. I didn’t realize a drop bracket lift didn’t affect cvs. Not the brightest when it comes to lifts. I have a restaurant. So at times I can carry over 1,000 lol. Nothing only 1,200. But hear truck is great. Just need better leaf pack lmao

Yeah. I use my truck everyday for work. Whether it be 20 to 35 cases of tomatoes or 33 cases of oil or whatever. I use my bed to the limit.

If you only haul heavy loads intermittently you might be best off with some air bags. Adding more leafs to your leafpack will just lift the rear end even higher
