3rd Gens with Pelfreybilt, RCI, or Other Rear Bumpers

They make it but just not on their website yet. Same for their new Overland skids.

VICTORY 4X4 STRIKE REAR BUMPER - TOYOTA TACOMA 3RD GEN (16+)

 

Just picked up the Pelfreybilt standard rear bumper, relocated the spare and chopped the exhaust. Put it through its paces the other day and it did great! A trail that would rip off my old bumper caps every time made it through with barely any contact at all. Best of all... no damage. Pelfreybilt also has outstanding customer service!

 

Absolutely love my CBI HCRB. Unmatched quality and attention to detail and the thing is bomb proof.

 

While we're throwing rear bumper brands out there.. I didn't want to cut up the back of my shiny new truck so I ordered this one from RPM Fab..I think it looks great and I know the welds are high quality from looking at their Instagram.

Loving the c4 overlander with bsm . Better order while you have something to distract you .The lead time suuuucks . It's not just c4 either . Cbi took about just as long for my front . Bottom line is both are great and definitely worth the wait .

 

Thanks for the props man, I’m currently in the process of separating from the military and moving cross country so I have been neglecting my TW threads unfortunately lol once things settle down and I get back into the groove of civilian life I’ll be back with more updates more often lol

 

All there good stuff is kind of top secret lol best bet is to keep an eye on Justin McBride’s IG wasatchoverland or maxx aka the yeti on IG they’re both big time affiliated with CBi and have all the good updates

What leaf pack is everyone running with the bumpers with spare tires?

 

Don’t believe I posted pics post install but here is the same rear HC with dual swingout as Justin McBride.

 

A buddy at work fabbed up a swing out to my HC Pelfreybilt i picked up at The BAMF/Pelfrey Warehouse sale.




We still have to finish making the custom latch not the finished latch. It will be more of a hinge latch matching the hinge on the right side.
