ayra has some serious plot armor, every single time it showed her getting blasted by either fire or nearly crushed by rubble I though ehh they finally killed her off.... wait nope shes still alive some how.

 

Lmfao, the ending fucking sucks. Idk if they thought the cinematography was going to hide the shit writing and completely bs scenarios in this season or what.

yeaaaa.... this episode was very much a "be careful what you wish for" time for me... lol

I wanted her to level Kings Landing, but only because it was completely necessary to defeat the Lannisters... not because she's become a Mad Queen. Though I very much enjoyed Cersei's tears as it was happening.

I do enjoy her arc though. I'm loving the "hero" I've been rooting for since the beginning turn into a villain. Love when things don't go the standard, cliche route... which is why I love GoT in general.

 

Isn't it cliche that the one fighting the tyrants becomes the tyrant though. That is pretty standard.

 

Yeah I don't think Dany leveling Kings Landing is much of a surprise when you think about her family name and ancestry...was it Aegon I think that took the 7 Kingdoms a few hundred years back by leveling almost every major castle/city with dragons and fire? That's just what her family does, they go crazy and burn stuff

Yea, not a surprise, really, but not really what I was hoping for... which is why GoT is great, it doesn't just give you what you're hoping for.

Arya has been the main character of this season BY FAR. She's been the focus this season way more than Jon or Dany or Cersi or Tyrion or Bran. I think she rules the 7 Kingdoms in the end.

 

TBH though I guess since now Dany has become an antagonist (the last one really), this probably means that both she and her dragon have to die. I hope Drogon lives though but I'm guessing he has to go wherever she goes, or however she goes.

 

I'm hoping that since Jon is a Targaryan, he can "inherit" him.

 

assuming Dany doesn't kill him (and Tyrion) first.
