    Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone out there has had their stock Entune premium non JBL HU just stop working? I had that happen to mine today. Checked the fuse and looked fine. disconnected/reconnected the battery and still nothing. All other accessory and things work. The HU is just blank like no power at all is getting to it.
It's a new 2019 Tacoma purchased 3 months ago and less than 4k miles on the clock. I also know someone I work with who bought a 2019 Highlander roughly the same time I got my Tacoma and her HU went out as well a couple weeks ago. Toyota replaced her HU under warranty.

I would also check the 7.5A ECUACC fuse and the 7.5A ECUIG2

If neither of those are blown, I’d take it to the dealership because something is wrong.

Also, I would actually test the fuse (or replace) to ensure it’s not blown. Fuses can sometimes look fine but be cracked enough that proper voltage can’t pass through

If you don’t have a multi-meter, now is a good time to grab one! Even the cheap $5 at harbor freight works fine

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!

Take it in to the dealer -- why should you waste your time troubleshooting this -- you have a warranty USE IT!!

I will definitely check those other fuses. Thanks for your help!

I will use it but if it's something like a blown fuse that I can replace in a couple minutes than I'd rather save the time. Believe me, if it's not the fuses or something simple I will take it to the dealer. I can at least tell them I did my due diligence checking fuses.

Did you ever hook up that Key amp? If so, we need to make sure it’s all wires up correctly, and that it didn’t blow a fuse

No. That's the weird thing about it. I am getting ready to solder all connections. I haven't even touched the HU yet. Makes me afraid too now. HaHa. Just for future reference. When I do get around to installing the key, any precautions for removing HU like disconnect battery or does that matter?

Won’t matter as long as there are no exposed wires

The HU on my 2018 literally went up in smoke all by itself. Had to stay like that for a week, with no music or backup camera for a week while Toyota shipped the new HU to my dealer. It was replaced under the warranty at least
