I saw that too when I googled the fuel cutoff. I just asked her if it will even crank. If it will crank, is it possible to get it up onto the dolly if I rig the clutch interlock so I can run the starter in gear?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Seeing that front end damage makes me wonder how the underhood fuse box made out. Perhaps a relay was knocked loose or a fuse blown?

    back to bone stock.
i followed a dodge viper into a corner..#10 at thunderhill. he lost it, and went up on the krail, and flipped the car. full course stop. car was totalled. no one hurt. i saw him at another track day with a newer carrera (rich guy i guess), he said farmers insurance covered the entire damage. he said his coverage didnt cover racing, but since this was advertises as a driving school thing..chaging!

i say it couldnt hurt for the (ex?)GF to ask. she has nothing to lose. you never take a car to the track, that you are not willing to walk away from.

good on her. i would have a heart attack if my wife tracked. but she doesnt. thank god. i bet she would use her turn signals out there.

    To the OP.

It will take a 5-7 Day waiting period. Get the AAA Plus Membership and you'll get 100 mile tow. Please advise you'll be taking it to a place of Repair or you'll be repairing it.

Have the GF file a claim as she did attend a Certified Class w/an instructor.

Ok, towed the car back to Centreville. She rented a tow dolly and I offered the tow services. She owes me a bottle of Scotch.

Turns out the car starts and moves. I don't know why the shop told her it wouldn't. Maybe they were considering its roadworthiness, which it is not.

Everything forward of the front wheels is pushed back about even with the leading edge of the front tires. The motor mounts that are cast into the motor are broken. The passenger wheel is bowed out and the car does not track straight. It has no coolant, makes an awful ticking noise when you start up the motor, and starts smoking after a few min. The car is bascially fucked up.

She's going to part it out. Junkyard offered her $200 for the car as-is.

On the plus side, the Taco pulled the car like a champ. S/C definitely helped and I think it would have been sketchy getting on the highway without it. I pulled it back in 5th at 60-some mph. I got 14.5mpg doing it...not bad!

So did you have the talk??? I missed it in the 3 pages.

Haha one whole Benji?!? Yes we did have the talk. We split up, we're riding out the lease until its up at the end of November. I'm having a hard time deciding if this is more or less shitty than having a roomate in college. I'm leaning towards more shitty.

    Edit; definitely more shitty.

Brunes I'll see what I can do about the plastic seat folding knob. Probably what I'll do is let her know that TW members are interested in parts and just post her email if she is interested so I don't have to constantly act as middleman. I'll be in touch via PM.
