I tried searching and everything was pretty old...
With that said has anyone done the trail recently? I've got a couple jeep buddies that want to run it this weekend and I'm curious to how difficult the trail really is?
Driving a Stock TRD Pro with sliders.... Thoughts or opinions?
    Picture for attention HAHA

We did it a couple months ago. We didn’t take stock vehicles. Had some fun obstacles. Best for those with short wheelbases. The switchbacks are sketchy, don’t go too quick.

Sketchy in what way? I’f you don’t mind expanding?
Not worried about driving skill just wanna know if stock height will clear obstacles and not leave bumpers behind.

Let’s just say we slammed a few times in a first gen runner on 37s. We don’t take the bypasses. We saw jeeps but they took bypasses and didn’t follow us. The runner was almost too long for the switchbacks. Lots of multipoint turns and tippy moments.

    Gotcha
    Good on bypasses if necessary
I’m going to assume the switchbacks no bypasses?
So if slow going on the switchbacks at slow speed should make it up as long as careful?
Not interested in tumbling to death
Thank you for the info and 20 questions BTW

I don’t have maps or information regarding bypasses but here’s what I found on google. Take it as you will.
