With my slip-on exhaust, Arlen Ness air cleaner and Harley reflash, I'm pretty happy. I'm looking at heads and cams in about 4 years at the end of my extended warranty so I'm wanting to switch engine management at that time.

That's badass. I've considered going with an R1 for track fun, I love those Yamahas.

The benefits of the power commander is you can tweak settings at home. The reflash is a HD shop only thing, Bazzaz I think makes a piggy back unit, the V&H fuel pak is a joke, Rapid bike is crap.

For garage messing round, power commander or Bazzaz. For serious stuff MOTEC.....

Yea, I had the Arlen Ness Intake but went with True Duals. Apparently that is what required the tune. The Dynojet - Power Vision seemed like a very cool tool for a guy like me that is not into it as much as Y'all and just needed something to work outta the gate, then give me the flexibility to play later. Seemed like a decent price for what you get.

The ram mount system in billet aluminum was nearly half as much. :bananadead:

One of these days I will bring it to CnC
She is a little battered, cosmetically from 2 moves, but scuffs and scratches are paintable and corrected with new parts.

That is not too bad a system. For the standard street rider that ain’t about outrunning the PD or the local ricer trash, it can help you get the most for what you do 95% of the time.

I’m the other side, make maximum everywhere, then drop it down a notch or 2 for survivability

I am building mine as a second DD, so the choice of slip-on exhaust was to keep the annoying Harley factor down, but make me happy.

If it's a sick track bike, I don't blame you. I love my taco equally lol

I was supposed to be a track bike, then I had to quit racing, rode it all over LA when I was living there, come out here and I’m not so amped to ride......probably due to the increased speeds and people’s lack of attention to the road...

Yea, I like to go fast and have no fear so I need a check valve on constantly. I would be dead otherwise. When i started riding helmets were optional and I couldn't afford one. Of course a guard rail post only makes it easier to put your head in the bag with one on. I applaud your skills and knowledge and envy them too. I am just not coordinated enough for the lifestyle though. Low and slow was fine for me as I got older. Especially with the wife on the back more than not.

Oh, and I refuse to post what I've had my Lexus, or the Taco up to. Rules ya know :D

It is, I need an ass load of work and parts before the bike would be street ready....fork oil change, engine oil, coolant, brake flush, new rear pads, new shoes, new plugs, t body sync, race fuel mix........slowly. Y’all will see it, either running or in the bed of the taco.
