    Utah
    Vehicle:
    1997 Red Tacoma 4WD
Power steering pump, Steering rack, Tie rods, Radiator cap, Thermostat, New radiator, magnets to hold the fuel door closed, new starter drum/cylinder, dash lights changed to red, replaced all carpet in the cab. Not real “mods”, but all work
If that were in Utah it would probably sell in about a week. It's a beautiful looking truck. I'd probably go in offering $6,000, being prepared to pay $7K, if everything on the test ride went well.

    Rear locker wouldn’t engage
Engine gaskets are leaking oil minor
Seller stated the air conditioner needs service
Everything worked as far as 4 wheel drive. Low and high.
    Drove fine.
Frame rust spots. Not all the way through.
Owner said it was parked since he bought it but it’s caked with mud underneath. I think all the work done is because the truck was beat to hell but the body doesn’t show it.
    Thoughts?

I bought that same exact truck except it's a TRD model with only 10k more miles. I paid $10.5k.

Pass. Looks like you could knock a hammer through those rust spots. Remember these frames rot from the inside out, it'll look way worse where you can't see
