    A piece of @EatSleepTacos swingout still lives on. Mounted his fuel can holder to my empty second swingout. Oh and his trasharoo.

    Hey, how long you have your water port on there Tyler? I just noticed it! I want to build one. Did you add baffles? Did you make it so you could remove it? So many questions. Did you follow an online build guide or just wing it with your natural intellect?

    That's been on there a while.

    It does not have baffles. Not really sure what baffles are to be honest. Its held to the roofrack with big hose clamps. I have worked with PVC a few times in the past and so I designed it myself. It has a couple small leaks, but I think that's from where I used too much pressure the first time. It only leaks when I pressurize it, so it doesnt worry me too much.

    Are you sure you're in the Navy? :D JK, baffles would be round discs the same diameter as the main tube and installed every 12" or so. They would be drilled at the edge of the disc, at the bottom with something like 1" holes to allow the water to pass from one chamber to another but slowly. Most water ports are installed 90 degrees to how you have yours. Yours is the first I've seen perpendicular to the doors. It obviously works either way but if you have it along the cab instead and don't install baffles, then potentially each time you stop or start the water is pounding on the ends. Obviously it won't make the caps pop off but it could put stress on the rack or the brackets. Since yours is side to side that is likely not as much of an issue. And definitely not an issue with a better rack like you have, or better brackets.

    Realistically I might as well not be in the navy. I've never even seen a ship in person... definitely did not know that though.

    WHAT?:eek: That's possible in the Navy? I thought that was the Navy's whole deal.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    And

    Well, you know I overdo everything so why stop with a simple water port. I posted up in your build thread too. I really like the dual tube design. I was thinking the same thing but with 2 T's to keep the tubes closer together, and possibly go to 3.

    I saw that. And responded. You could also go to a wider diameter tube. If I did 5 inch tubing instead of 4, it would increase to closer to 9 gallons.

    Only problem is you need an air compressor to make this work. So...

    @EatSleepTacos how wide was that awning you had ? Did it mount on both sections of the prinsu ? How much did it get in the way while wheeling ? I'm thinking of ditching the tent and getting a arb awning room.

    Rob, keep in mind the bed and the cab need to flex independently. I wondered how he had it up thee too.
