Ive never done a rebuild i was quoted 155$ plus tax for the rebuild from kessler pro suspension out of wall twp.

Kps did my rebuild about 10yrs ago. I dont remember how much they charged me then tho.

Including parts? Not bad, I am already in $100 or so for oil, parts and tool.

Never had it on a scale but I have seen 320 lbs as the quoted weight. I took about 10 lbs off by swapping out the exhaust and switching to a lithium ion battery.

They are so similar now. At the time I bought mine the KTM wasn't the dual counter balanced motor and had less power then the Husky. Add to that a great relationship with my local Husky/Triumph dealership and it was a good choice for me. Can't go wrong with either bike really!

Learn to ride it well. Keep it until your skill level surpasses the ability of the bike. Those smaller displacement bikes are fun to ride, lightweight, and can be easily handled. On the whole, they're much more forgiving than larger bikes. Once you learn how to ride the hell out of that 300, make sure you surprise the fools on 600s and 1000s who just know how to twist the throttle by passing them up on the twisties.

That's what sport bikes are all about: turns and finesse. Anything with an opposable thumb can twist a throttle.

Shoei's reflective visors have a nice tint and reflection to them during the day, and I've found it's one of the few brands that I don't have to switch out for a clear visor while night riding. But I think this varies by person and their light sensitivity. I have no trouble seeing at night with mine, but the missus has trouble seeing. But she has trouble seeing driving a car at night, too, with a clear windshield soooo... *shrug*

Don't think that I've ever seen a Pitbull stand used like that to hold up the front! Is the lower tree just resting on the grip? If it works, it works!

No it's a specific front stand. It had a big pin that goes into the steering stem. It's been priceless for this project.

Here's a recent Utah ride we did. This is the first time I used the drone out there, it really puts the ride in perspective.

@smithe68 do you have an intake? I picked up the rottweiler and the power commander 5. It really opened up the bike on the power level. Expensive but it was worth it imo
