Going thru an 01 ext cab I picked up for my son , one owner PA and IL truck that was treated twice by Toyota so it’s a frame survivor/unicorn around here.. it’s turning out very nicely ...

Just figured out the AVS 25027 didn’t fit , tho Amazon said it should..

Wondering what you guys are running ?

Also are ext cab and reg cab weather techs the same ?

That's really why I try to avoid buying my car parts from a place that got its start selling books. This is hardly the first time Amazon didn't know what actually fits your car...

does your local dealer carry OEM one or can locate one?
took me a few months to locate and get a new one for mine, thanks to TW !!!

and get this, IL is on the cold climate state
AND IA,SD,ND and NE are not, MN,WI are ... not sure what the deal is we get snow and ice like you do in IL

 

To answer your question about the weathertechs, yes, they're the same. 5 lug, 6 lug, double cab or single cab, as long as it is for the 2001-2004 (when they updated the hood/grill) it should be the same.

 

i have one on my 95.5, can look when I get home to see if has a name.
