You know, if I could find one that was just time, I actually like that option. Just drop it into the bottom left corner of the windshield.

Also random question for the vent mounting folks, are you not using the wireless charging pad in the console? Did you replace it with something?

For me, as soon as I climb into my truck, my phone gets dropped into the charging area. And then I don't look at it again till I get to my destination. I focus on my driving and what I'm doing. That was why I was looking for something that I could just glance at so I could mentally track my progress without having to reach over and turn my screen back on. If I could just glance at the time, all of that thought process could be done and updated in my head before I could even reach over and hit the "home" button.

Again, I get that could be just me. I get my brain might be the only one that runs that way based off of having to be so on point time wise with the military. Maybe it's a PTSD thing and I'm nuerotically keeping track of time as a means showing some form of control over my life, who knows? But if the whole point of these forums isn't to make our trucks perfect for us and what we want and need, then what's the point?

I don't use a vent mount but I never use that cubby for a phone. Stores all my miscellaneous stuff. It charges too slow anyway

The wireless pad is way too slow. Fast charge with cable when needed.

I don't use the charging pad. I don't want to be reaching for my phone while driving. I use a cable to charge when needed.

You know, I can't say that I've ever noticed. lol. I just started tossing it there because it would charge it versus it staying on my hip. Something better than nothing. But now that you've said that, I realize I've never actually paid attention to how much it charged it.

A TACOPOD would be ideal for this. You can squeeze a 1.5” LED clock screen inside and it would integrate into the dash really well

Retrofit a 2nd gen dash clock in. Or a 1st gen clock.

Some times it takes a bit of searching and suffering trolls. Doesn't the nav have a clock? I don't have nav so my phone is mounted below the right/center vent and mine has a separate clock anyway. Is it important enough to switch to an aftermarket HU? Might be the most datasfying option (mispelled by intent).

Well, problem solved by Meso again. lol. I don't know why I try to keep him out of things. I think I have more of his parts than I do stock ones on my truck at this point.

Soooo..... flip down switch box replacement for the sunglasses holder? Should I just order that through your site because it's sitting under a workbench somewhere because you always pop in with exactly what I need? lol. You want me to like give you a week because you have to design it from scratch?
