Calculating Upgrade Break Even

    I put together a spreadsheet that estimates the driving miles and time necessary to recuperate the cost of any potential upgrades (in $) you are considering.

    I did this because I'm thinking about upgrading to the LCE 2.7 L header for my 4-banger and adding a catback high flow exhaust ~$1000 (diy labor).

    Some members have reported anywhere from 2-4 mpg gains (especially highway) from this upgrade, but you can put in your own potential mpgs.

    Feel free to snag the file and see how many years it'll take to cover your costs!

    Bottom line is you better hope gas prices go up if you do any mpg-related upgrades!
