question about rock/s2 lights. According to the site, it says Caution: Rock Light can get very hot when used for long periods of time. Please use caution when handling or installing. I want to add some lights to the rack and face towards the side of the truck for night lighting (Red). Can these not be left on for hours at a time? It doesn't sound like the S2 lights get overly hot, but the flushmounts arent available in Red.
    Any input or feedback?

The lights can be left on but we don't recommend installing them against any materials that aren't heat resistant. Installing on a metal rack will be fine. Installing on leather, cloth, or vinyl... we wouldn't recommend it :)

We don't want anyone burning or melting something by accident so we put the disclaimer up

Will the squadron sport non-r replacement lens fit a Sport R? Looking to go from driving combo to wide cornering but I have the round bezel

@Baja Designs are we ever going to see an angle mount S2 like the Squadron model? Would be perfect for roof racks.... just saying :)

That might not work either. I'm not an expert but I had a 3d printed item melt on my dashboard from the sun....I don't think the plastic would be able to withstand the heat from the sun and the heat from the light....

Depends how fancy of a 3d printer you use. You could get a laser sintered metal bracket made up, but the printers that can do that are $$$

Still trying to get the thumbs up from our Mx sup to use the 3d printer, bridgeport, 80T press and lathe after hours.

Yeah, I’m sure it would have to be the right material. Where there is a will, there is a way:)

I'll gladly acquire and setup a design. All I need from you two is the $69,000 in capital outlay :D

I'll take cash, venmo, or check. :spending:
