Front brakes 95-04 remove brake line?

    Will be attempting for the first time replacing front pads and rotors on '04 5 lug, and the only 5 lug You Tube video I've seen removes the brake line as a step.

    One viewer comment says that's not needed, you can pivot bracket up to remove.

    Can anyone weigh in the correct way to proceed?

    No need. Just unbolt the 2 caliper bolts and it comes off the rotor. Be sure to rest it on a bucket or hang it up as to not stretch the line.
