    How much slack was there with the 3 foot length? Was it pretty tight once everything was hooked up or a decent amount of extra in case you were running a different battery with an alternate post placement?

    That should work good, I recently upgraded the main cables on my 2001 diesel and they recommended crimps due to the much higher current draw of the CTD diesel starter and air heater, it can create enough draw to loosen the solder some during cold weather starts. The Tacoma draws are substantially lower, so I bet you’re good to go. Not like it ever gets cold in Phoenix area:tumbleweed:

    Where is the engine ground wire located on a 3rd gen. I know we’re the alternator wire and ground from the battery wire are located but no the engine ground.
