I do. Thats my dads rental while his frame is getting swapped. Its actually the second one. Had this for a month, but they wanted to sell it before it got too many miles so they swapped him for a taco today. 1407.jpg
Gotta say I prefer the 4 Runner

Well duh the 4runner just has a nicely updated trans and 4.0l that is what's in your dads truck. Glad they are taking care of yall and that frame without any hassle. Your dealer gave you much nicer vehicles to drive than I got.

The dealer is doing good... the service advisor doesnt really know what shes doing but other than that theyve done fine.

I'd be more concerned with the tech than the service adviser

Yeah Ive read some horror stories. Although the one where the dudes wheels were stollen while it was sitting at the dealer for 2 months takes the cake.

Yeah I had my truck until they got the frame which only took 2 weeks. Then it took the guy a little over a week to do the swap. But I had their best tech working on mine and everthing was perfect out the door. Hell I wheeled it 2 days after getting it back.

Were in 4 weeks now, still waiting on parts. This dealer always has a pile of new and used frames out front so I hope that means they do enough to know what theyre doing.

You said you know some of the techs at Cox, right? Is Robert Kaine one of them? He used to be our go to guy with problems on the 92, heard he went to Cox with a lot of other techs after management changed at Rice Toyota.

I don't know any of the Techs at Cox. But I know that most of the guys there stick around. There isn't a lot of turnover there and they have a lot of room to expand.

Rice seems like a revolving door. Very rarely do I see the same people in there more than once. Wasnt like that until maybe 5 years ago. Alot of the good guys went to Cox or Vann York when management changed, sales people included, and the parts guys that knew what they were talking about. I had to explain why a PCV valve doesnt cost $140 to the guy they got now.

There is a guy around here that did something cool not sure who did it or if you could with your sliders. He has a 1" BL also. His goes over the frame the dual tips exiting right before the pass. rear tire. Not sure who did it. I had ace muffler in Burlington do my reroute it wasn't cheap but they did a good job.

Not my style, but thanks for the shop advice! Also, the sliders are gone. Decided to go another direction with the truck, and tbh I never liked the square tubing. Much prefer the look of the dom tube instead.
