2018 noises in reverse

    So i have 55k miles on.my 18 tacoma. A few times when I'm going in reverse i here a clunk or screech noise sounds like I'm dragging somthing. 1st time happened a few months ago,backing up my driveway not too steep.2nd time was last weekend on flat surface....any ideas??anyone have issues like this?? Thanks in advance.

    Trucks trannies clunk from time to time, its normal. Especially when you get going in D or R , or braking. Not sure whats happening in your truck, hard to tell without actually hearing it. Hopefully nothing is wrong.

    You got nothing in your bed or anywhere else that could make noise?

    Don't know if this will help but mine did the same thing at roughly 500 miles. Took it to the dealer. Turned out to be a freak one of a kind problem with the rear brakes. A trip to the dealer might be in order. Or if you are handy, look into your rear brakes.

    Btw- they found it by putting it on a lift and turning each rear wheel by hand back and forth.
