First GEN 2000-2004 changing color on AC and heater control

    So, after hours of research and ordering the wrong part once online( they were cool enough to let me return it ) I found the parts to effectively change the color on the AC control panel .

    If you search for the part numbers for the white one,dealers will say that they have it . However, in the fine print it says that it replaced with the amber one.


    The only way I could find it is to buy one at a junkyard .

    Also,

    If you want the air condition and recycle buttons to light up a different color other than Amber, you might as well buy the whole control . $65 for mine

    This one is off the Tacoma noticed the amber tent

    This one lights up green

    If you want to change this, get out your soldering iron and I hope you can find the right diode

    So, for those of you who don’t want to solder on the computer board, Your choices are amber or green for the AC control and recycle buttons
