Grill Lights Only Flash When I Lock My Truck

    So I tried splicing my grill lights into the passenger side headlamp and the only time they turn on is when I lock my truck and they flash with the other lights. Wondering if I just did a bad wiring job or if there’s an easy fix. I have no idea what I’m doing btw (To say that I’m an amateur at this stuff is an overstatement).

    I spliced into the blinkers instead of the headlights, just really disappointed myself when I realized what I did
