Does the tpms sensor still works right
Even if you lift up your truck?
Or it need to be recalibrated somehow

A lift doesn't have anything to do with TPMS.
Just remember that if you go aftermarket rims and tires to have them swap the sensors over to the new wheels.

    Those tire sensors are expensive
I think i dont want them removing that valve stem on my old tires just incase i want to re use them
    Talking about wheels and tires
Do you guys buy 5 wheels one for the spare?

Your regular guy doesn't have N2 and regulator on hand. Yes it's easy, if you know what you're doing. Then there is the matter of tools. Tools are what separate the DIY from the mechanics. There is a steep buy in, unless you plan to make it a career where it'll wash in the end

Scotty's and island really are the best places to go with these trucks. Sorry about your luck

And I can't believe people still take shit to theywhoshallnotbenamed.... That should've been prevented with a quick search

Like I said above, buying stuff there for the best price is fine. If you leave your truck there, wtf.

That's what I do and you know it
I've bragged often about the looks of it hey give me when I order full compliment of tires. I show up to pick up and they all salty... Asked how come I didn't order in the store, flat tell them its cheaper online, chuckle, and load my tires
Done this a few times now.... Will be doing it again here soon when these 20s come

tpms on Amazon are about $35/each

better off getting new ones if you order a new set of rims

I picked up a 5th wheel that i've never used

Why would you get new ones when they can just move the OEMs over? Had mine moved twice fine (OEM -> SCS -> Baja Beads).

for me, I have a whole second set of rims, and the cost to dismount, mount, balance just to move the tpms over isn't worth it.

I'm not sure I know what guy you are refering to?

LOL! They give me attitude also. I wonder if they work off commission? Probably that's why it's more if you walk in? (But some of the sales guys there sort of cop an attitude and try and talk down to you like they are the experts?) But when you ask them the hard questions they have no clue!

Have you tried "Ship to Hawaii" I wouder if that would be cheaper? Now that "theywhoshallnotbenamed" charges shipping for orders? F'n BS! I just ordered about $4k or parts and accessories, you'd think they'd throw in Free Shipping?!

If anyone knows of a cheaper way to get heavy parts please let me know?

I'm alway interested in good deals!

Servco sell certain brands of tires buy 3 get one Free! Picked up a set of BFG for my buddy's ride and took it to Costco. To mount and balance the set and pull and remount the TPMS from the stock rims and tires was $130.
They just won't mount the new wheels on your truck. Liability.
But that's a fair price to take apart the stock set and remove the TPMS, re-mount and check balance, and mount up an additional set of new rims and tires.

yeah, I run dyna beads for balancing...so its easier/cheaper in the long run if I have a spare set of wheels to re-build while the current set is on the truck.

and it sorta lines up to replace the tpms after 6-7 years when the second set is getting taken apart.
