It was great to see everyone!! Wish it hadn't rained so much - but it was still a great time. Lots of time in our hobo camp spent laughing. :)

I still need to go through my pics. Hopefully I'll find time this week! Looking forward to seeing what the media monkeys captured as well!

Made it out yesterday for a quick 1 night trip up to Broken Bow, OK. Was happy to get a night away and get Blaze out on his first camping trip! Also the RTT finally made its way back on to the truck and finally got my Plano cases mounted.

Got the tent opened up to air out right after arriving(Hasn't been opened since I took it of the truck and stored it in November). Left the ladder up so the pups didn't get tangled around it.
    20190516_185959.jpg
Pups being good while I cooked myself some dinner. Loving the chair with the tray. Really convenient until I walk away and the dogs get tangled and knock it over. Which happened to many times.
    20190516_194111.jpg
Had to try and get a campfire pic lighting up the truck!
    20190516_210023.jpg
Finally figured out how to take Panorama shots on my phone after almost 2 years... I've just been lazy and never looked at anything but options to take a basic photo and video. Maybe that why I never use my DSLR's.:notsure:
    20190517_063220.jpg

A few individual pics of the first panoramic.

The pups napping why I pack up so we can head home. Wish a storm was coming tomorrow, I would have loved another night or 2 out there. Sadly didnt want to deal with wet camping gear or wet and muddy dogs. I left the back door open when I saw Blaze was laying in its shade. Didnt feel like making him get up to get out of the sun, he would ahve probably starting tangling me up with his lead. I successfully never fell from getting tripped by their leads!

Another pic from on my way out from my camp spot.
    20190517_100118.jpg
The pups love hanging there head out the windows. There both in the first pic before Teq moves to the other side.
    20190517_100128 -2.jpg
I swear Blaze's head was out the window 90% of the time as we pulled out of the driveway to start the trip. He really loves riding in the truck! Didnt seem to mind the rough terrain off road either.:D
    20190517_100143-2.jpg
And here's Teq trying to get his spot on the center console back. Blaze doesn't look to thrilled about Teq laying his head on top. Blaze gave up and moved right after I snapped the pic.
    20190517_101355.jpg
It was a fun 1 night trip. I'll be going back to explore more when the weather isn't supposed to turn to crap. It was a good experience finally having both dogs with me but it really proved to me that I need to get a platform built for the pups and get a better lead setup. The seat belt buckle leads are crap since I think Teq steps on the buckle and releases the lead. Hes too smart for my own good.o_O

It was a good trip! I'll probably go back a few more times before the end of the year. 3 day weekends every week could be good for camping.:D

Was planning on going camping again but decided I have to many projects to complete. So today I pulled my back seats out and will start on the dogs new platform tomorrow! They are going to have a lot more room with the back seat gone. Now I have to decide if I'm pulling the cubbys out or leave them...

Small little upgrade for the truck arrived today. The sale Sunday sealed the deal for me to give it a try. Only time will tell how much I really like it.

    Already got it switched over!

Seems nice and at half price it was worth getting!

The time is coming to plan a trip. I think I want to go to CO again. Maybe add some time in Moab or NM. Probably going to plan on leaving on a thursday or friday and coming back the following friday. I'm thinking sometime in the realm of Aug 22 through mid/end of Sept but I'm not really wanting to go over labor day weekend due to increased traffic of people getting out. Now I need to see if anyone's interested in joining so I'm not wheeling alone. If you are interested let me know and I can start locking down the set date. "Now I'm not gonna do what everyone thinks I'm gonna do and freak out man! All I want to know is who's coming with me?"

I am flexible I havent put in a time off request yet. I have been planning on going to the HF meet 9/20-22. I was starting to think about trying to do the NM BDR starting on 9/23 but if your wanting to make a trip I'm open for anything if I can get those days off. I just want to get out and enjoy some time away camping.

I've got a tow strap, snatch strap and a winch to help you! but yeah I could be down for that. From what I've read the worst you'll see at BBRSP is pin striping and putting tires at risk if your ok with that. I'm not sure about terlingua, my only knowledge about it is its a small town with campgrounds and there used to be a brewery that shut down earlier this year. I'll need to look into both more to come up with more of a plan.I'll look into it this week and see what I can figure out.

Yeah I will probably do it within the next year. Non of it looks to hard but it will take some time for the whole thing. Totals in around 1200 miles for the whole thing.
