1 month after I bought my Tacoma my Fiance wanted a new truck too. Lots of people on these forums contemplating trading in their Tacoma for a 4Runner. Lucky for you and I, we get to have both!

Yes I was thinking about that. I was driving the 4 Runner the other day wondering if I should have gone the 4 Runner route for myself. However I think having both the Tacoma and the 4 Runner makes better sense.

They both have their purposes. I need a truck bed but also the better seating for the family. Both are bad ass trucks and I am so happy I have both.

Love the FJ...It took about 2 years of hard looking to find one this nice. Bought it in 2017 with only 22,000 miles. I use it for camping, but have just bought a RTT. So the Tacoma is the camping vehicle now.

I hate to say it, but if the design team for the Tacoma, fixed up that goofy 4Runner front end, we’d be a lot further ahead with the 4Runner. Looking at these two, side by side, I know which designer I agree with. A more Tacoma-ish facade on the 4runner would make it less of a mom truck for sure.

You can see the Dad Mom, Husband Wife, Man Women look for sure between the 2 designs. We have the TRD pro grill for her 4Runner coming soon. Hoping to harden up the 4Runner a bit.
