Smoother Ride in a 2012

    that's the stock Tokico struts wont get any softer ride then them

    Awesome: you’re well away from your bumps and those leaf springs look great for their age. You can still get a smoother ride from a longer, flexier spring, but there are a lot of higher ROI options to talk about first.

    Front looks good to me as well, though I’m less dialed on them than rear options.

    Replacing the shocks/adjusting dampening will change your ride, but to any sort of advice on that we need to know how the truck is handling now and how you want it to handle (on bumps is it not moving, bouncing up and down dramatically, or is the rear bucking?)

    Are you comfortable doing your own wrenching? A free, 15-30 minute way of trying the truck with a softer front suspension is to temporarily remove (don’t just disconnect the links, actually remove the whole bar) the front sway bar and drive it in a controlled area. With stock front suspension this feels too soft for most people, but might help you determine which direction to go in

    If you can find some TRD Off Road take off struts, you might try them. My 2014 is a TRD OR and it rides really smooth. I think, not for sure, but think the springs on the OR are progressive rate up front.
    Also, like everyone else said, air down a bit. I run 35 in the front and 32 in the rear. I've been pulling a trailer lately and air up to 40 for that. When I remove the trailer and forget to air down right away, you can really feel the difference. I'm running Michelin Defenders and I don't think you can find a better tire for comfort on the road.

    Because the wheel base is short on these trucks you are gonna get a bounce. It will never drive like a F150 or Silverado.
