We've had customers ask for this for a while, and here it is. Our Tacoma bed racks for the 2nd and 3rd gen are now available in a 10" mid-height and 18" full height option

We've also added more adjustability, more holes to mount stuff, and some top bars add even MORE mounting options for RTT's and adventure gear.

Currently prototyping out additional mounts for bikes, kayaks, tread boards, hi-lift jacks, etc, but for now, you can order the new base rack here: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VMSBR.html

Use the code "IntroPricing" to save 15% for a VERY limited time

    FAQ
Does it work with bed covers?
Any cover where the structure or the cover itself extends more than 3/16" or so over the tops of the bed rails isn't going to work. We've had good luck running the Access Roll-Up covers in both the vanish and the original. You will need to trim the bottom of the mounting rails of the cover where they go over the rack mounts inside and add some extra gasket material for a good seal. Rolling it up is possible with both heights, but it's really a PITA on the shorter rack, so take this into account. A quick video about this coming soon.

How much weight does it handle?
It's stronger than the bed of the truck, but unfortunately, we don't have an official load rating on these kinds of force on that. We've ran this design loaded down with an RTT, hi-lift, shovel, axle, and mountain bikes on trails all over the country without issues. We do recommend running our bed stiffeners with this setup for additional strength: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VT23-BST-PC.html

What do I do about the blocked high mount stop lamp?
There are holes on this rack to accept an aftermarket led brake light on the rear of the rack.

Love it? Order now at: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/VMSBR.html

Will there be kayak mounts coming for the half rack (10” height)? I have two kayaks to haul around and woukd prefer the shorter height height rack but realize it won’t work without some kind of mounting bracket to get the kayaks above the roof of the truck (similar to what was available for the previous version).
    Nice looking rack!

    Thanks for the deal.

The family and I are renting an RTT this summer to see how we like it so i finally had an excuse to order the bed rack I've wanted :)

@monkeyevil what is the weight of the rack? I’ve got your roof rack on the way and thinking of picking the bed rack up as well.

I need to get an official weight, but I think it's around 50lbs.

If anyone is looking for feedback on the 2.0 mid-height rack I just picked one up and It’s fantastic. Just got home from a weeklong trip down south and I have zero complaints. It’s a solid built rack. E1B49B7E-E0EE-4D30-85E7-BBB6E627D853.jpg 398343BF-C881-44A4-926C-0DC0B2E70975.jpg 3DA14EA8-32E0-4E60-A920-C67477B1B322.jpg

It was great! Met @ScenicCityOverland at a campground in southern Tennessee. Spent the last day sliding around some backwoods mountain roads in the pouring rain. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip.:mudding:

Installed mine this week. Great looking rack and the quality seems superb. Can’t wait to get some proper use out of it this summer.7DFD3A2E-E446-469A-AD95-4A81D67DE524.jpg 72DDDFC8-C104-4B11-9D46-D25D8F5E35AA.jpg

Unfortunately I do not. Sorry! I can tell you the mounting options are endless. I have maxtrax, an axe, saw, and shovel all mounted out of sight on the top crossrails of the rack. Gives me an excuse to buy more toys to fill up the side panels
