El Taco Diablo... Mall Crawlin, now with LT for tall curbs

I don't see any other way to make them fit and get the entire travel out of them.

 

BUSY DAY yesterday!

Did a drain and fill on the Tcase. Replaced the drain and fill plugs with new ones from Trail Toys... because holy cow the OEM plugs blow ass! You can actually get a socket on these.


Did an oil change... no pictures because that's just boring.

While I had the skids off I investigated why I was getting an intermittent squeal when running A/C. Turns out the A/C belt was WAY lose. (I was concerned with overtightening the belt on the A/C when I did the timing and accesory belts because of the A/C bearing... turns out I was a bit over cautious) Tightend the A/C belt.

Sold the old chrome grill that was listed on Craigslist... then bought these, that were listed on FB marketplace (came out with a $20 profit)

Then went and bought a BBQ, for the wife, for Mothers Day... brought it home and assembled it.

 

Jen came home from the store today
I'm thinking she is excited about her new grill.



I'm not complaining

 

Installed the new speakers today.

Lol... I told him a 1st Gen is the "best gen". A 2nd Gen is a good truck... and DO NOT buy a 3rd Gen.

He did listen to some of it




However, my youngest son DID listen to me. We're going to meet up with @Speedytech7 tomorrow for my son to buy Zane's 1st Gen

 

Nice. I've been brainwashing my son (he's 10) about all the crap with the turd gens and the $50k TRD Pros. He gets it... lol

I'm been stalking your build thread, and your rear bumper is genius. Might copy once I get rid of my wimpy 125 welder and get a 180

(He's the one that did all the welds that don't look like shit on my bumper, lol)

 

@Pella and I did some work on his truck last night... He is really getting going on that truck. Looking bad ass!

Found out some of the roads started opening up for us, up the hill. So @Pella and I decided to see if we could get lost today.
