    We had a member at the club that started to be a problem.
    Elderly, and I think he must have been in early stage Alzheimers.
    Started violating club rules all over the place, being nasty to everyone.
    And when someone said anything, he'd pull aside his jacket and show his pistol.

    One day he was wandering around the lake when it was gated and closed.
    So I confronted him and he pulled that shit.
    I got an inch from his nose and said don't ever do that unless you want some for-real trouble.
    I was ready to grab his pistol, too.

    Anyway, he backed down and I reported the incident to the state police.
    The club was happy to let the matter drop, provided he promised to never set foot there again.
    Of course, his membership was revoked.

    I gotta admit, I was very angry at the time.
    I coulda cracked that bugger on the head alright. :p
    But on sober reflection, I pitied him.

    I use loose powder and round balls. It'll take conical loads but then not as much powder will fit. Just out target plinking I load 25 grains. I keep an extra cylinder loaded with 40 grains for protection purposes. It'll pack a pretty good punch with 40. Thinking of getting a conversion cylinder so it can use .45 cowboy loads. But then it would be legally considered a firearm if it uses modern ammo so I haven't done it.
