Han anybody come up with a way to put the BSM's in, on or around the rear of the Taco's if you want to use an after market rear bumper / Hi Clearance bumpers.

Since you are not getting any responses here, perhaps you should contact the high clearance bumper manufacturers and ask them how they deal with BSM on Tacomas.

    Good luck!

Manufacturers have said that they don’t want to accept the responsibility if the sensors don’t function correctly. Plus, the have to shoot through plastic so you have to have large plastic windows in a metal bumper for the sensors to work.

I figured that with all the ingenuity here, somebody some how figured something out on how to go about it. like maybe putting 1 in each break light or somewhere. ‍

Some features like BSM, ACC Lane Departure, Parking Assist are too sensitive to touch.

Personally, I wouldn’t touch any of them, unless I was fine deactivating them.
