Those Harrops are pretty rad, but spendy. Unless I am able to sell some body parts, I'll probably just go with an aussie.

Had an opportunity to trade this thing off on a FJ60. High mileage, but rebuilt engine and a ton of new parts. Pretty much rust free. I would love to have an actual running and driving 60. But after much thought I decided against it. I bought this thing to go places. I don't really care if it gets scratched to piss or dented up. If I had a 60, I couldn't/wouldnt do that. Maybe someday I'll have one.

Spare carrier is still doing well. It doesn't wiggle around hardly at all. Earl still doesn't like to ride, but now he can stick his head out the window he is getting better.

Bought a new buggy, been putting miles on it. I just cruise this after work or on the weekends.

Very nice on the buggy. I bought a Honda Pioneer a year and a half ago. It's great fun out on the trails.

I looked at the Hondas. They looked nice and I heard nothing but good about them. My requirements were 4 seater and dump bed. That narrowed things down pretty quickly. This thing is pretty nice. Different than my rhino. Most things I like a lot better, some things about my rhino I miss. Everything is a compromise. And I plastidipped it. I did the same to my rhino when I bought it. When we sold it after 7 years I pulled the dip off and the plastic still looked brand new.

I love your LC. I've been shopping around a bit for an LC for myself but also considering a third gen 4runner to build up. What kind of mileage do you get with the 35s I'm sure not good but curious how bad it really is. Any idea what your rig weighs?

I was actually looking for a 3G 4runner when i bought this. I usually get anywhere between 10.5 and 13.5. I have no idea what it weighs, I should probably run it across the scales one day.
I've been scouting deer with my dad quite a bit lately running around in his 05 Tacoma. Makes me really want one of those again. I like the 80, but for all around do everything, the taco is better.

Yeah if I could afford it I would do that. My dad has been talking a little about buying a newer Tacoma. If that happens I told him I want first rights to refusal on his.

I like Dad's Tacoma. I think about a shell off/on and my wife always makes fun of me. "Then why didn't you get the 4-Runner?"

I have a new addition for my 80. Been wanting a new rear bumper and DeltaVS came out with this one. Maybe I'll get something for the other spindle, but the tire will work for now.

I hear that occasionally too. Totally different. The 80 is my first suv and it is what i dislike most about it. Having secure, weatherproof, separate storage is the best thing since sliced bread. I put shells on just about everything i own.

What a tank! I love the LCs but, between gas and parts, it seems like a pretty spendy vehicle to own.

I don't have any. I'll have to take some next time it's set up. The sleeping platform is on top of the trailer and the rest is just open space. It's tall enough inside to stand which is nice. It's made of canvas and pretty dang heavy duty. 20210807_191019.jpg
