I have a 2010 TRD Sport Double Cab Tacoma, it’s white and I’m going to get a 3in suspension lift for the front and back. What size tires would look the best and would fit? I got the 17in stock rims and I’m just wanting to get new tires, and I’m going to put .5 inch spacers. What size tires should I go with? What would fit?

I’ve been looking at 275/70 - 17’s for my next tire purchase (I’m feeling lucky). To be safe stay with 265/70 - 17’s. 285’s and you probably need to cut and trim stuf.

I was thinking about going with 275/75/17s but I was just worried that wouldn’t fit without having to trim

You're going to have a couple choices for tire size.

If you want absolutely no trimming you can go 265/70R17(1 inch taller overall), and you may be able to go 275/70R17 (little more than 1 inch taller, and 10mm wider) without having to trim as well. These may look a tad short on a 3 inch lift though.

If you want a 33 inch tall tire like most guys on here you have two choices: 285/70R17 and 255/80R17. The 285 is 11.5 inches wide, whereas the 255 is a little skinnier than stock but you will probably not have to trim. For the 285 you will likely need to do a cab mount chop, and some plastic trimming.

As far as wheel spacers go, make sure you get either Spidertrax or BORA spacers. They're the only ones I would run. Also, you'll need the 1.25 inch wide ones if your stock wheels don't have pockets for the studs to protrude into. Most stock wheels do not. Otherwise you won't be able to mount the wheels back up with the spacer on.

    Like, so many.
Generally the largest you can fit with no rubbing are 265/70/17.

I have 255’s on my Pro and didn’t need any trimming at all because of how skinny they are. 285’s are going to give you a Beeter look, but you’ll probably have to do a can mount chop. I personally like the look of both, but went with the 255’s because I didn’t have to modify anything.
