Went wheeling today with a local group of guys. Had a great time. Got some real rock crawling in too, very pleased with the trucks performance and glad I have full armor now, cause it got used!

Thats why kits have intercoolers, Hood vents aren't going to fix charge temps

Our superchargers don't have intercoolers, TRD started putting them on the 2nd gen Tacoma chargers.

Which is why meth injection works so well on our setups

 

Hook the Air-Water to a cold tank and ice it before your trips. Throw in a couple of cans of beer for the end of the day.

 

That's cool, hadn't seen one of those before. I'll probably still do methanol instead one of these days cause you get the added benefit of octane increase + cooler intake.

Then just unhook it every couple years for an hour to make CA happy

Installed the tonneau and added a bottle of Techron. Not real ambitious after a morning of yardwork

 

Got all the IFS torn off. I'm so tempted to just cut the brackets off and SAS it right now. But I'm trying this "be reaponsibke" thing and it blows. Excuse the garage, I'm the messiest mechanic ever.

 

Time to do the buggy killer on it

 

Mine did the same thing. Then I jumped a curb at full lock and it bent the bracket pretty bad. I switched to the vertical mount like below.

 

Have you checked the bay temp before and after? And have you done the string method to see how well air flows?

Gas prices or mileage? The Mileage is just what happens when you run e rated 33s and armor, I haven't corrected for the size difference of the 33s so it's probably slightly better than it seems.

The gas prices are because CA is being CA

 

That would be cool to see someone here add that kit
