Not much going on. Getting a bunch of little stuff done. However nothing really to note.

I did install new LED switches instead of the Caring style that come with the ARB. Apparently the arb Carling switches are halogen and get extremely hot. Not only that but my front locker “on” light burnt out in less than a year.

    All matching now

Finally got out to test the new tent. Poured all weekend but we were nice and dry. Was also nice to not have to keeping breaking down camp and setting up like with the rtt.

Dog did really well too on the first camping trip. We stayed at a campground and were pretty close to home in case we needed to retreat.

Few things to tweak before going on the road for 5 days up to Quebec with the wife, mother in law and dog.....should be interesting.

Not much going on in here. Went on a 3k km road trip and had a great time camping and using the truck. This was a literal road trip with a single dirt road we took. We were on a bit of a time crunch.
During the trip, truck hit 200k. We did the gaspe loop.
    4:30am sunrise

Once I got home I was doing some maintenance and as I was checking things over found this.

    https://youtu.be/_biWswchw-E

I have a little over 100k km on these with many miles offroad so wasn’t too surprised. Was also happy to hear replacements aren’t overly expensive ($100 for poly and $300ish for the solid). Considering what the LCA bushings and bolts cost this was a huge relief.

Also painted my door stills at some point

After two years....finally got the gas tank filler neck situated.

    The old setup

    The start
    Piece of scrap aluminum

Used this plastic to prevent any abrasion in rubber hoses.
    203A79B9-6F0F-42CA-831C-77C7A28B09CD.jpg

Even got the gas cap cord thing to work
    D5F4650C-36CF-42D2-BEB6-EB7CF5687A27.jpg

It isn’t perfect but for about $50 all in between hoses, the gas cap cover, it wasn’t too bad.

Finally got mudflats on the rear of the truck. These are removable via a pin, and are a bit wider so I should not be getting as much mud everywhere.

I still have more mud/rock projectile flinging to take care of, but all in time.

Also got my from radiator mount bushings taken care of. They were spent.

Also helped with fender gap a bit.
