He moved to Maine. Not sure if he knows it or not but he still lives in New England. No reason he should leave the thread. Hell even @BigMacMcCoy still comes around here sometimes! And he only lived here for a few years!

I'm guessing he's just been super busy.

 

Yeah last I knew (last fall) he moved up here and was going to be working at one of the larger ski mountains. Hadn't seen him since so I was curious

 

Will some house stuff got done but as for truck stuff, touched up frame with por15 will need to remove and repaint sliders and check for rust under those. Neighbor helped with spark plugs and serpentine belt. He should be joining us for the August meet. Repainted the hitch with por15 as well and did top coat with rust-oleum. Swapped to my summer set wheels/tires and also no more rubbing my mud flaps. Made two slots to run a zip tie from the flap to the body mount and pull them out of the way. I'm burnt and exhausted but still haven't stopped lol

Edit: also dropped off two sets of headlights at my cousin's custom shop to build some badass retrofit headlights that will probably never have a duplicate out there

 

What are the chances a bird would shit on my armrest while I'm driving? Time to play the lottery.

I lived in Boston for 7 years, the longest I've ever lived in one place. I only had the truck for like 2 of those years though. So when are y'all coming down to Nashville to visit? "NE TW Comes to Nashville"

 

Bumford area, right? Maybe he hasn't gotten internet hooked up yet at his new place.

I'll be driving through that way on Friday afternoon, though, so if I see his truck I'll throw a rock at it for you.

 

@mach1man001 what would one of these run me through your company? I buried the truck pulling the boat out of its winter storage this weekend and apparently found a rock with one of the wheels. Structurally it's fine, but the finish over the aluminum is boogered all to hell and it's going to annoy me until I replace it.

 

I dont think he works there any more. Just got his CDL is I recall correctly

I didn't know if he'd started driving yet. Figured it was worth asking. I can always pick one up on Ebay if need be.

 

Local Dodge dealer probably has a bunch on the lot. Just go swap wheels on a Sunday....
