That doesn’t mean your current bump stops aren’t working. It means you either need to trim the fenders or adjust your bump stops to limit bump travel.

I’ve thermo moulded some abs plastic to protect the vsc module and fuse box from rocks and such, and then also capped off the intake hole as I have a scoop from above the radiator.

Thats exactly how I feel, at first I thought it was my ammo cans and floor of the bed, but took those out and still there. its not always at big bumps either, which made me think it just sits in that part of the stroke. I'll google it too like snowsk8 suggested.

@06HAOLE trying to come back to the darkside eh! haha

EDIT: YEP!, this video sounds identical to my noise. Time to turn up the radio :D

Close all the bypass tubes, if the sound goes away then yes it’s them.
You can change the check valves to a delrin style that are a lot quieter, king sells them

Does anyone know how bed bars and an rtt could work with TT bedsides?

Probably can’t. Going to need a custom bedrack that likely bolts through the bed mounting bolts. That’s how I considered doing it when I was considering a rtt

Why? Do you already own the rtt? What’s your bedcage look like? Could modify or build something off of that.

Oh haha I don’t have a bedcage or anything yet just TT bedsides and a bank account that doesn’t want me to buy DMZ

    - get rid of the TT bedsides because they look weird
    - keep the bedsides, just have the rtt platform spaced up high enough to clear

This is beautiful and along the lines of what I want to do. Do you have any sort of plating to minimize the elements in the fenderwells?

Back when I was going to mount my rtt I was going to make it where the front would have bolting locations on top of my bed cage and then the rear would tie into existing bed bolts. I can’t imagine bedsides would last long even if they were flat when doing fast stuff since it’s mainly glass keeping it held with traditional bed racks.

I’ve done some, I don’t go through much wet offroad so it’s not the biggest concern to me.

    I'm here for the memes
Dude's got a custom cage basically in the bed of his truck tying together the DMZ, tire carrier, and rtt mounts. Really nicely put together.
