How about a quote from over a year ago!!
This is a genius idea, I'm going to try it. If you're still around would you mind detailing how you wired this and maybe a pic or two?
    Thanks!

    a few...
I just received my RI flush mount Ignite lights like this late last week but unfortunately I can’t mount them nicely like yours as I have the back up sensors on my OR right there. It looks like I have to mount them in the bumper step like in this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rigid-ignite-flush-mount-pods-on-rear-bumper.477764/

My only concern with this set-up is their angled downwards in this region on the bumper step. Has anyone every shim the RI Ignites to be more parallel to the ground? I’ll use them as additional back-up lights when in reverse only. Any pointers and/or tips on how to achieve this? Thanks.

I don't think you'll need shims. I have them mounted just like in the thread you linked to and they light up the area fine.

See below for a write-up I did that may be helpful. It includes how I spliced into the reverse lights so that they come on with a switch or with the stock reverse lights

Wiring LED Front Light Bar, Rock Lights, Reverse Lights, and Footwell Lights

How are these as ditch lights? I’ve been thinking about getting these.

I personally would get the side shooters (Rigid or whatever brand) for ditch lights. these probably wouldn't be bright enough.
