Be prepared to find corroded and locked up wheel and master cylinders. I've done some brake work on some cars that never had the brake fluid flushed in 40+ years and it's amazing they had any brakes at all!

Brakes did work as the truck was in a parade recently. I don't know if the pedal is spongy or goes to the floor.
Maybe the master is no good.

    I'll find out today.

The master cylinder is leaking. The owner is going to buy a new master cylinder. Not sure when we will have time to install it.
I also looked at a M274 with intermittent start. Small wires on the starter switch and small wire on the starter were loose at the terminals, put new terminals on.

    Here's what he has.

Now that is a plate bumper.

How much lift to get the wheel / tire package to clear?

Why are the wheels black like all the cool kids have? I mean it does have the Rock Star logo on the door. Sponsorship?

There's lots of room for LED lighting on this thing. Does it have air on board too?

    Still running under extended warranty?

    :D:thumbsup:

No lift, it's stock. I should see what Old Man Emu has for springs.

I'd remove the wheels and pull back the rubber boots on the wheel cylinders and see what they look like. There should be no brake fluid or corrosion visible. If you're going to go through the trouble of replacing the master cylinder and bleeding the brakes might as well make sure nothing else is ready to fail.

That's what I told the owner, we filled the master and he drove it around the block. Said the brakes worked but the pedal was spongy.
Have to see when the master shows up.
