Can anyone give me some information on this product? (FinalCoat CM-3000)

    I bought my truck a few months ago from a dealership and never noticed that this was installed next to the battery until I had some power wire ran for an amp inside the cab. I figured it couldn't hurt and tried to do some research but I couldn't find anything on how much it costs and if it actually works as it's supposed to. Anyone have any personal experience? To me it sounds like a load of BS but who knows.

    It's what's commonly referred to as "snake oil". Applying an electrical charge to your frame isn't going to protect against corrosion unless you also have a sacrificial anode as well, which I bet that doesn't have.

    I see...That's sort of what I figured. I wonder if it's worth the time to rip it out?
