Roof being pushed up from something between headliner and roof.

I bought a 2018 SR5 in August. The roof developed a "pimple" behind the driver's side over the winter. It's as though something is pushing up from below between the headliner and the roof. The raise has now chip away the paint to bare metal. Has this happened to anyone's truck? Did Toyota fix your paint?

What does the dealer say? Ive pulled down the headliner and it can be done solo. Its not something I would do for idle fun.

 

Yes...bought it new. I believe the snow shed from the trees popped it! Hahaha

Going back to the dealer this week....tried to play it off last time I was there. Did talk about taking the issue up with Toyota representative that comes around about once a month. I going to try to schedule an appointment with the rep next time they are there.

 

Whatever it is....its unacceptable.
