Since it is a BMW I am also wondering if they had to source turn signals from the Corolla?

It's a BMW engine that went through Toyota QDR. I am not sure why there are questions about reliability..

Subaru wasn't the most reliable company when it connected with Toyota to make the GT86. The GT86 is probably the most reliable sports car that has ever been made. Even through Subaru basically manufactures the car, it still has Toyota reliability.

    People are just blind hating.

Toyota makes 4 sports cars currently, and every single one of them has a loud group of haters.

RCF -- "It's too big. It's boring. Toyota V8's are too old school. M4's (or any German) is better for the price"
IS350 Fsport -- "NA V6's are a thing of the past. it's too boring. Toyota needs to invest in Turbos. The suspension is too soft"

GT86 -- "Needs more power. Not enough torque. Needs a turbo."
LC500 --"too expensive. Not fast enough for the price. I'd rather buy German cars at the price"

So now after hearing from so many that Toyota's sports cars need Turbos and Germans are better for the price.
Now Toyota co-develops with a German manufacture and has a Turbo engine. What do they hear from the haters now? Jesus. they can't win can they.

Considering how unreliable the Supra became when it went TT last time around I hear ya.
