How did you get access to the back of the power outlet to replace it?

 

Essentially you have to take apart most of the dash. Take the piece off that’s below the steering wheel. Then the piece that surrounds the gauge cluster. Take the center console out. Then take the radio and it’s surround out. It’s a lot of steps for one little plug. As I recall, the panel that has the lighter outlets is the lowest level that other stuff attaches to so everything else has to come off.

Oh and the hole had to be enlarged slightly to fit this particular plug.

 

1000 more miles and I can add another decal.

 

Just installed shocks off a 2018, with only about 500 miles on them and put Wheeler's 2 inch lift AAL on the back. Ride is much better and no bottoming out on bumps with the rear end. About 1 inch lift on front and 3 inches at rear, but it should settle some. Installed Trail Ridge Mirrors a couple of months ago. Also thanks to irayfz6 for the Ranch Hand Grill Guard.

 

Loaded it...this is why I love the long bed. I have 1800lbs of landscaping sea shells under the boxes

 

Same thing I did 2 years ago. Bedliner still holds and have not done any touch-ups (But mine is a mall crawler)

 

What are you using the dolphin fin antenna for on the roof?

 

Swapped out the third brake light for a smoked led version

It's on the list. But so are seat covers, cab mount chop, new u joints and carrier bearing (they aren't bad yet, just preventative maintenance) etc.... waiting for a good deal on used one

 

I was able to punch it back out so it doesn't look as bad, but it is still covered in dirt. We'll see how bad it looks like when I wash the truck.

I've been looking around at some bumpers, has to be aluminum and I am pretty picky. We'll see...

 

Be sure to coat them in a UV stabilizer, otherwise they are going to oxidize extremely fast after a restore. Like this one:

Nah, I need good road manners and my off-roading is limited to fire roads and the beach... It's basically a pavement princess/mall crawler.... I contemplated 285's but didn't want take the MPG hit or have to sort out any rubbing.
