Not quite the same but similar: I did have to CMC when moving from a stock wheel to 3.5” BS wheel with 255/85/16s on a 2nd gen OR.
So, for 1.75” or greater spacers, yes: it will rub.

How many miles on them? I've got about 25k on mine and will need to be replaced in the next 5k.

I've got 10k on mine and I'm guessing 30k is going to be about my end result as well. Which isn't terrible for a mud terrain, but they're no Toyos for wearing like iron.

I should start posting here. I have the Dick Cepek Extreme Countries and these suckers are amazing...best thing is no CMC required

I would say I have about 10k miles now but they seem to be wearing down ok.

Also seems like I’ll hit 30k though.

I failed to rotate every 5k, first rotation was at 20k. I think I could have gotten more miles if I would have.

Daaaaang man! I’ve been doing every 5 and all seem even. Are you gonna keep purchasing these tires?

Probably, but I'm still doing some research on other tires, there's just not a lot of offerings in this size.

    That’s true.
Biggest thing for me was that these don’t weigh as much as others.

That's why I picked up a set of 17s to run 255/80R17 that have more options

Been running mine on trails, off-road parks, mud and DD. They've been fantastic. So far 19k miles on these 255/85r16 Cooper ST-MAXX

I'm still reading through the 238 pages but I figured I would ask well I'm searching. I'm looking for photos or experience of 255 / 85 / 16 with a will 0 mm offset and 4.5 backspace that is 6x 8 ... Short story would be Konig countersteer offroad wheels

I'm going to guess probably not. Any more offset and you whack the Cab mount and/or rub the fenderwell, any less and you rub the UCA. TBH I'm not even sure the 255/80R17 fits on these trucks on the TRD Sport rim.

I ran these on my 2nd gen: https://www.procompusa.com/wheels-p...1551-1557-2339&pqa=13676-8275-8057-8268-13829

I had a tiny bit of rub at full stuff but I was running an ARB bumper and it would have gone away with a half inch more lift. The rub was very rarely on the cab mount, but mostly on the pinch weld.

I have the Pro comp series 31 16x8, 0 offset with 4.5 backspace and the only time I've rubbed is after 1 hard jump with 255/85r16s. I to rock crawling too with no problems
