I’m getting ready to do this, I have a bunch of Dynamat and I also want to re-cover the headliner in something a little brighter.
Did many of the clips break when you removed the panels?

No, as long as you pull gently, you should be fine.

The sun visor clasp is a little difficult to remove, be extra careful with it

Mild lift and some tasty bits
How much of a difference in noise does this make? I'd like to silence my interior a bit.

DId the doors and helps a lot

    Might want to start there

Doing the doors might get you the results you want

I have a JL audio 12 W6 and I’m trying to get rid of the rattle .

Plus it’s nice to be able to keep my windows up and not annoy other people with my system

I agree, because I've done pretty much everywhere but the doors and the floor. That wasn't by design, it's just how it worked out. I've even installed a $60 Dynamat hoodliner and it made 0 difference. I'm using sound meter to test before and after and so far nothing has worked. I have found that a large portion of the road noises is coming in through the cabin air exhaust and the sound probably bounces around inside the body before getting to your ears.
