@Jpowers24 No problem! Yes, order two of them (sold individually) and take the body lift off. That should be a good start to solving your problems related to the harsh ride.

No, keep the coils and arms for now. They are designed to work together.

Hey there. Quick update. So my 31 inch tires will not fit when I take the body lift out. Correction, they will fit but when I turn or compress the suspension they will rub. So I asked some friends of some ideas and we concluded that a suspension lift kit will work so that we can remove the body lift and replace it with the suspension lift kit instead so that I can keep the tires. Now my big question is what suspension lift kit can I install that has all the parts I need? I ask this because when I did research I found one for my truck and everything, but it did not come with springs. I dont know if I am supposed to use the ones that I already have installed, or buy ones...anyways the link to them is below if someone could please take a look and let me know if that wil work for my truck with just that. Or..what exactly I need?

    Thank you

so you're going to spend ~$900 (after shipping/tax charges) to not have to replace $600 tires? more power to ya :notsure:

how much lift do you need? Don't you already have a ~2" lift on the truck already?

From that kit you just need the spindles to get 3” lift. Here’s a link to just them.

Alternatively, depending on how much you’re rubbing, you can install taller bumpstops on the lower control arm to reduce compression/uptravel. Here’s a link to the ones I have on my truck.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000CNB5OK

Anyway, I’d try the bumpstops first. Cheap and easy, and if that didn’t help enough, then try the spindles.

You’ll need an alignment after the spindles. If you’re looking to do a brake job or change wheel bearings soon, you might want to do that at the same time, since you’ll really be in there when you swap spindles.

It’d be a good time to do any ball joints or tie rods since you’ll basically have everything apart except the coil spring.

Thank you for all that information. I will need to buy two spindles then?

Do you have any other suggestions for a lift kit for my truck that has everything included?

My other big problem is that the Bilstein lift kit that I am looking at has no coils for it. I am wondering if I use the ones that are already on my truck or do I have to buy ones now?

The coils you have in now are giving you 3” lift. You can and probably should leave them in.

The spindles are sold in pairs, so the 415$ would cover both sides.
You might need longer shocks. I’m not sure.

I still have the factory shocks but I also only have the 3” from the spindles, but you’ll end up with 6” (3” from coil/UCA and 3” from spindle).

Oh thats perfect. I will just use the coils I have now then. I don't want 6" though, just 3", so if I install that suspension kit and put on the bump stops, instead of the spindles instead, will that work?

remove the body lift + add spindles = exactly the same height you have. You will need something else in the rear, but that's pretty cheap/easy.

Spindle lifts are great because they don't change your suspension geometry at all (not really true, but it's simpler to explain this way). It just shifts the wheel mounting point down, giving you lift at ride height. Looking at that fabetch spindle picture, imagine the "snout" 3" higher, and that will look the same as your stock spindle.

Are you talking about the Bilstein kit? That kit is the same exact spindles I linked you to + additional stuff (rear lift, and shocks all around). Which you may or may not need.

You have 3” already without the body lift (you have 3” lift coils). And it rubs. So you need more than 3” to stop the rub... which is where the spindle comes in..

Remove the body lift. Do the bumpstops and see what happens.

If it still rubs, you will need spindles.
