I suppose you're right. I just have visions of a recovery and that thing ends up flying through my window.

It's a clevis grab hook rated for 5,400k lbs. It's ideal for chains and lifting. Do not use it for recovery, it will fail.

I’ve only got a 2” lift but I have a full front bumper. I feel like UCAs, CMC, and gears are just the beginning of what I would need

Why not keep the SCA and go with @Titus94 285s? 295s are not a common tire and you get much better sidewalk height with a 285/16 than the width of a 295/17.

That's a great question, and trust me, I'm considering seriously considering it, but there's a lot of reasons really...

First off, based off the actual manufactures measurements the sidewall height is only a 0.3" difference for the 295 KM3 (8.4" vs. 8.1") and only 0.1" difference for the Toyo/Nitto compared to his 285 KM3, so really, you're getting the added height at almost no loss of sidewall. Also, BFG's already run small, so in 285's I feel like they are just the tinniest bit too small for 4Runners. Since they run small, they would be perfect in a 305/70/17, for some reason they don't make them in that size. I'm thinking it's because they still have a large stock of KM2's available in 305, so when those all sell, we'll see the 305 Km3. So for now, I think 295's will be a good compromise. None of these sizes are available in 16's, which is a bummer. Going to 35's would make my life easier... because then I would stick to 16's and call it a day, but since I think the biggest I want to go is a small 34, I kind of have no choice but to stay with 17's.... which is what's on my truck right now anyway (265/70/17 of Tundra/Sequoia star rims), so that's easy.

And even with all of that, I might just swap with him for the time being to minimize my loss of $$$, but to be quite honest, I don't like the way the F5's look in person lol. I know everyone loves then! But now, seeing them in person, the style just isn't for me. haha. I think if I had gotten black FN's 5 Stars or all black Ray 10's I'd be down to stay with 16's for a while, but such is life. So if I go with 295's for now, I don't need to buy any more rims and can put that money towards something else... like a rear bumper, which I really do need.

To be honest, I don't think you want these 35's. They would make your truck way to big, and pretty much render it useless for anything other than destroying trails, rocks and obstacles off-road, dropping panties, and making your friends look bad. I mean really... parking in the Whole Foods parking lot is gonna be a bitch with these, and you might not fit in those fancy automatic car washes after getting dirty at the mall. It would probably be better to stick with your 285's lol
